The "Temenos" (sanctuary, also referred to as "peristyle with double monuments") was a large open courtyard surrounded on three sides by Ionic colonnades. In the centre of the courtyard stood a raised structure, 14.98 x 16.14 metres, with steps, which may have been the base for an altar or two small temples.
