Cuartel Moncado
This art deco building completed in 1938 was a military barracks for Batista's troops. On July 26, 1953, it was stormed by Fidel Castro and 100 rebels. Bullet holes can be seen on the wall at the near end. They had been cemented over by Batista's troops, but the Castro government remade them
