Ubeda
Casa Museo “Sinagoga de Salomón” s the only Synagogue documented in Úbeda and one of the few in the entire Peninsula. It is surely the only one that appears in an extensive scroll from the mid-14th century titled “Synagogue of Solomon”, which refers to the most famous Jewish king of antiquity, Today, a 14th century house remains with the Star of David on its doorway. In the lambskin parchment kept by the current owner we can read several names of the Hebrews of Úbeda, along with the name of this prayer house in the Alcázar, which bordered the Main Mosque, currently the Collegiate Church. of Santa Maria. The house is structured in the manner of ancient Jewish houses. Museum was closed
