The Great Mosque of Mohammad Ali Muhammad Ali built his mosque on the highest point in Cairo . Citadel. His mosque was built between 1830 & 1848 in the memory of Muhammad Ali’s deceased son.The mosque was built with a central dome surrounded by four small and four semicircular domes
