Today I road in to Tours which is a 10 km ride. When I got there I had a ride on the big wheel. I had a great view of the city and the Louvre river. When I got back we went to the pool and ralaxed. It was so refreshing.

On the 13th of August we drove in to Tours which is a nearby city. We had a look around and found an unusual shop which sold clothes, bags, wallets, gems, bracelets and many more items in an unusual stile. I bought an elephant patterned dress. Today I went to the to troglodyte caves which are caves that people lived in. They were called troglodytes. The village that they lived in was called Rochmeniere and has been turned into a museum. There were two farmsteads in the same complex, they were made up of: . 1 barn; . 1 wine cellar; . Stalls for the animals; . Lot’s of chicken nests in the walls; . A chapel; . A meeting hall; . We stayed at a campsite called ”La Mignardiére”, about 5km outside of Tours. They temperature was extremely hot when we arrived. Dad asked for a shaded pitch and we were lucky. It was surrounded by large oak trees which gave us shade for most of the day. While mum and dad pitched the tent we quickly changed into our swimming costumes, we got into the pool.
