Hi all, Well I am now back in Bangkok after a fab three weeks in Vietnam. For my last two days I stayed in Ho Chi Minh city and thanks to Martin O'Grady (must meet you for a beer) stayed in the luxurious Caravelle hotel which his brother Stephen is the General Manager of. The hospitality shown to me was unreal and made a perfect end to a pefect time in Vietnam. Who ever is reading this if you ever go to Vietnam you MUST stay in the caravelle hotel. The food, the service, the luxury it is all worth every penny. Not enough to put me up in this beautiful hotel for two nights, but when leaving Stephen gave me a couple of lovely presents and had a limousine take me to the airport!!! When there I was greeted my another member of the caravelle staff who took my luggage, checked me in for my flight and walked me as far as he could before the security point. Now that is th way to end a trip!!! Before Ho Chi Minh I was staying in Nha Trang for almost a week as I decided to do my advanced scuba diving course. Jenny & Debbie left me on the Tuesday to continue on to HCM and then Cambodia. I have now met up with them again in Bangkok and did a serious session last night. My memory is a bit hazy about that! Any way I went out on the boat diving for three days and had great fun with the crew from scuba zone!!! On the Thursday night Liz (one of the crew) had just passed her dive master course so we all went out on the piss. A serious, serious session that lasted till 6am. Needless to say the next day was a write off. I just about got out of bed for some thing to eat. I must go now, but will continue with the updates later.
