Hi all, I wanted to put a postcard on from Boston, but they didn't have a picture, so I have had to do Washington. I stayed in NY for 2 nights then headed to Boston for 2 nights. What can I say, but what an amazing city - I loved it!! I met sound people on the bus going up there and back. 4 and a half hour bus journey, but I didn't miss a minute of it. I met an I.T guy on the way up (I know sounds boring, but he was really sound and gave me some tourist tips). When I got to boston the first place I had to go was M.J.O'Connor's bar!!!! Well where else could I go? I met a guy from Detroit and two girls from Boston and we had a few beers and a laugh. The guy was over for work so he had a company credit card tab at the bar - we drank all night on that! how cool? Got back from Boston on Tuesday night and went staight to Doc Watson's after throwing my bags into a hotel. Met a lovely couple (Ray & Maura) from Dublin. Ray's Dad was originally from Mallow. How small a world is that and they were best friend with Seamus Moore's niece. We had a good old session and exchanged addresses for a Dublin, Cork or London reunion. Hope you guys got home ok and had a great end to your honeymoon. Met the group the next morning. There are 13 of us in total, plus the tour leader Chris. Here are the names and place: 3 girls from Oz - Amy, Robbin and Kelly 2 from South Korea - Nada and Hoon (not together, but I think they are now) 1 guy from Reading - Martin 2 brothers from Sweeden Rico and Nico A couple from Denmark Stein and Rasmus (first year anniversary was this week) Kavit from Kenya - whom I share a tent with And last but not least Matt from Italy. Yes you're right more guys than gals - just my luck!!! We're having a ball getting to know each other and ot course I'm trying to get them into the drinking habit!
