Well, the night spent on the airport floor wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated! It went really quickly, and because we were both tired we managed to sleep the entire journey on the plane making our flight painless and stress free!

I can't put in to words just how beautiful Bali is. It's more than a paradise, it's a haven filled with beautiful scenery - jungle, beach, paddy fields, hidden temples among the streets - and the friendliest people we have encountered so far on our travels. The food is amazing too! I just had chicken pieces covered in coconut sauce grilled on a skewer with rice. Soooo good!

Erm, kinda wish we'd spent some of the time we stayed in Cambodia here in Bali. It's awesome. Suddenly people are friendly (even if they're still trying to rip you off) and the food is incredible. Stone carvings act as elaborate trellises for numerous plant species to grow upon, the streets are intimate and the general atmosphere is just better than anywhere else. I have to say though, crossing hemispheres has cranked up the humidity a huge deal, we're well into the 30s temperature-wise and we're thus experiencing a tropical summer! Anyway we're doing fine and will inform you all of our numerous plans to cycle around Bali soon. TY
