CONTIKI TOUR - M & M DO EUROPE... DAY 1-2 We are in Amsterdam on our 10 day tour. Everybody has been chatting on the bus to get to know one another. There is 50 of us and our tour manager Dave and driver Danny. Our group is a mixture of Americans, Canadians, South Africans, Kiwis and of course the Aussies. Oh and we must not forget the one token pomey. No one could work out why and English person would do a Contiki Tour but she did and was great fun! Today we have a free day to explore Amsterdam. We decided to go to the Heiniken Brewery where we got 3 free beers and a glass to keep. We also checked out some of the city area as there wasn't a lot of time before jumping back on the bus. Last night we had a river cruise with drinks included so everyone got stuck in. Then we went to see a show in the Red Light District which was mmm... well lets just say interesting! Then it was back to the hotel bar for a few quiet ones as Dave would say. We are now headed for St. Goar and then to Munich and the Oktoberfest! Wahoo! Until next time...
