Not wanting to squander our last full day in the Philippines, especially when the sun was beating down on us we decided to head to the acclaimed Honda Bay. On arrival there, there was no beach like we expected just a broad and spacious harbour. It seemed that you needed to get banca boats out to the various small islands that littered the bay. Seeing the price lists for a boat rental looks foreboding but we quickly learnt that you could tag on with other parties...

I will say little of today. Following the indigestible pork sisilog from last night I now have a bum that resembles the Japanese flag and a mouth that has listerine attempting the mask the smell of sick. We didn't get to see the Big Lagoon on our previous boat trip as the Miss Universe contingent was being shown around it (both random and disappointing as I didn't see a single tiara). Miraculously, Chelsea later informed me that it's on her bucket list to see it and she's always wanted to go there... this of course meant that we had to go on an identical boat tour again just to see it for forty five minutes. Brilliant news, we didn't melt in the night. Our hosts at Billabong Bamboo Backpackers took pity on us and juggled around some things so that we could move beds.
