so far barcelona has been b****ing! absolutely a great time. things here are slow during the day but drunk at night. i find myself continually meeting canadians and australians... but apparently there are a ton of californians roaming around.. yet to find one. yesterday we ended up turning a half hour train ride into 3 1/2 hours. yeah we're cool like that. definitely got our 1,20€ worth and then some. woops! upon arriving the beach i made my topless sunbathing debut. (check that off my list of things to do) last night was tapas and shots for 1,50€ so of course we part took in numerous.. then ended up walking from bar to club to bar until we ended up somewhere near the marina and mandy stumbling drunk. haha. funny times. today we went and saw la temple de la sagrada familia. an amazing display of "out of the box" thinking. a definte must see. there was an incredible number of stairs, so many that at one point i was wondering which was going to happen first: the completion of the temple or our arrival to the top. i've officially doned myself a expert map reader and unofficially titled myself expert of the metro systems across the world. totally kicking ass and not getting lost. anyways... also we hit up Parc Güell which was quite worth the extensive hike that has left us near parallyzed. i just got word we're having difficulty finding a hostel for Rome so i better wrap this up. and oh yea, mom.... my debit card isn't working so beware my credit card bill. we'll talk about it later. love you all! can't wait to hear from you!
