Happy Birthday Lily Started the day looking around the Citadel and then onto a tomb... The girls have really had enough of museums and buildings so it is good that there are no more scheduled in.... Phi our guide has been filling us in on the Vietnamese history very well and his historic capacity knows no limits.. All very interesting although hard to retain. Another hot day so we were all relieved when we reached the lunch venue. Another rendition of happy birthday by the whole group after the morning version on the bus led by Phi was lovely. We even got a candle from the restaurant and they played happy birthday over the speakers. The group gave Lily a card and some spending money which she is looking forward to spending. Back to the hotel a quick dip in the very small pool on the top floor of the hotel and then off out for a birthday drink as a family before the evenings festivities... As I have said this trip is go go go but everyone is having a lot of fun. What a great evening we all went out to celebrate Lilys birthday to a local bar/ restaurant. They sorted her out a cake and another rendition of happy birthday, a very memorable birthday for Lily. We even played pool tonight.
