Up for a breakfast of noodles and fried something.... and then said goodbye to the village which was a lovely experience. All arrived at home stay after a 2 hour mini bus trip from KK. Lovely to be staying actually in a village. We got allocated to the Chief and his wife which was very nice. We went for a short hike to the river where we swam - it was nice to be cold for a bit. On the way we walked through some woods that was a kind of farm which grew pineapple, turmeric, ginger, lemon grass and also rubber trees. It is amazing seeing how all these grow in the wild. Most of the day spent around the pool at the hotel we left about 3pm to KK and to the Dream Hotel to meet up with the group. Our tour guide is Jeffery and the group is made up of all nationalities. Three couples from Australia, one from Norway, another Switzerland, a lady from Canada and the Phillips family. Seem like a nice group but there are no other children so we will have to see how that goes. All walked into KK after the briefing for a lovely Curry serve...

Very restful here and a beautiful location to spend a couple of days. Just about getting over jet lag. Off round the pool for a bit and then back into KK (Kota Kinabalu) to meeting up with the group we will be traveling with for the next couple of weeks.

Well after 23 hours door to door we have arrived at the Nexus Resort at around 1:15 pm. We are exhausted and trying to stay awake until a reasonable time so we can kick into the local time zone. Off for something to eat now. More tomorrow. Oh slight hick up Daisy's bag has been lost en route by the airline. Hoping to get it back tomorrow!
