All arrived at home stay after a 2 hour mini bus trip from KK. Lovely to be staying actually in a village. We got allocated to the Chief and his wife which was very nice. We went for a short hike to the river where we swam - it was nice to be cold for a bit. On the way we walked through some woods that was a kind of farm which grew pineapple, turmeric, ginger, lemon grass and also rubber trees. It is amazing seeing how all these grow in the wild. Had a pot luck dinner with the whole village in the communal hall followed by dancing and playing the gongs - great fun. They normally have electricity here by not today as there is a power cut so it was back to basics with a torch. Hope everyone sleeps Ok as Lily and Mimi are sleeping in another house in the village.
