Up at 7am for our luggage to be picked up at 7:30. Quick breakfast then we collected our climb license and then in the mini bus for a short ride to the start of the climb. And wow what a climb... this section was approx 6km in itself is not bad but when you consider we were climbing 1,400 meters in that time then you will start to understand the scale of the challenge. The climb took approx 6 hours of what we thought was hard climbing of a mix of rock and wooden steps. We were all exhausted when we arrived and after some food we were all in bed by 7pm as we had a very early start the next morning.
