We arranged a mini bus to take us to Pai, so, we boarded a taxi which picked us up at 14:00 to the bus station where we got on the mini bus ready for a journey full of hills and windy roads. Dan was feeling a bit off key today so he took a bus sickness tablet as the journey is renowned for making people puke; there were even warning signs on the side of the road with a picture of someone throwing up!

The journey was so lovely, we would drive up strep bendy mountains and then back down, it didn't cause my tummy any trouble. I was too busy looking out into the beautiful views of the trees and landscape of the hills and sky in the distance. When we first arrived in pai, i was looking out the window and i knew just that second that i would love it! Everyone was smiling, eating, smoking and laughing whilst walking down the main strip.

When we got off the minibus we began our walk to find the guesthouse, after walking quite a while and asking various locals, we still couldn't find out so i called the guesthouse and they said they would come to pick us up. I was looking out for a woman in a car pulling up by the station, i was wrong. A woman and a man pulled up on 2 scooters/motorbikes and i must admit i got nervous at first, especially because i was carrying my altogether 80litre backpack! Anyway, we both mounted the bikes, me on he back with the woman, and dan with the man. It had been ages since i'd been on the back of a bike, last time was around 4 years ago when i visited my mum's friends and managed to get a lift on the back of her bike. Anyway, the journey to the guesthouse wasn't so bad, i was sure to hold on as strong as i could and it seemed that in no time we had arrived at our new place to stay; we would never have found it on foot as its a little off the beaten track, a beautiful place though!

The man and woman were so friendly as they directed us to our small bungalow and explained how to lock and unlock he door, there isn't a reception desk here so we signed in and handed over the 1000TB for 2 nights which isn't bad at all considering how big the room is, we also have another room that links the bedroom to the bathroom! We unpacked and gotnout the ipads. I couldn't wait to get on that market and taste all the delicious goods they have on offer however it was quite late by that time around 19:00 and Dan wasn't feeling too great so we stayed in the room for the night. I was drawing random tattoo ideas of the hamsa hand and listening to some system of a down. Got to bed around midnight.
