It's been a fantastically hectic couple of weeks leading up to here, the day before we leave for San Francisco. We have a few things still to accomplish including most significantly packing suitcases. Last we checked Mellissa's was overweight despite not having the majority of her clothes packed, nor her hair straighteners which, as we all know, are the backbone of any girls life. I just know she's going to ask me to unpack my x-box to make space. No dice I'm afraid, if I can't play Arkham City then what's the point in going?!

It strikes us both as surreal that we are this close to going after so much planning, preparation and saving. It would not have been possible without our loving parents and family and their support, provision of space to store all the stuff we wanted to keep and assistance in moving said stuff. We can't thank you enough and we feel unbelievebaly lucky! The same applies to all our friends who have helped us out, have made us feel special and drunk, and who we have sadly had to say (temporarily) goodbye to in the past few weeks. We hope you realise how much we're going to miss you all! Although through the wonders of modern 'technology' it probably won't feel like we've gone anywhere. They have the internet on computers now!
