Fran Hey! Went to Portico yesterday and they were so pleased to hear some of your news. They are all keen to see you when you get back! No idea why Mel!?! Ha! No - seriously - they're quite excited actually to see you when you return. I hope you get some good weather in Japan otherwise it will be two Winters back to back for you won't it. Fran Hi - how are you?? It's not good weather here!! Nicki and Paul are coming this weekend with Carla and Anna. One sleep to go! I was looking for patches and realised that if you wanted to collect them then it would be much much cheaper than getting them on Ebay where they are selling for a stonking £7 each! I just thought you need to know before you return! I've got all mine now I think and still sewing away! xx

fran Oh just on the pronunciation of your village, I have decided not to teach the kids the name for a 'seal' in French 'phoque (the obvious). I just could never live it down ... especially as they found the French word for 'tired' so amusing 'fatigue' (fatty gay).
