Today was another great day for a long distance walk, we walked from Fremantle to Perth along the beautiful Swan River, walking thru Mosman Park, Dalkeith, Nedlands and then along Mounts Bay Rd into Perth, checking out how the other half lives. Time to get the boots out and take them walking, need to clock up some km's in them as will be doing 25 to 30 km's a day. Preparation for the feet very important, walked from Canning Bridge down to Fremantle along the Swan River, 19 km's very pleasant walking not to hot, coffee at Point Walter and we had Sarah join us which was a great surprise, so lots of chatting made the morning go quickly. On the count down to our Camino trip and into a training program. Today we took to the Kings Park and climbed Jacobs Ladder five times, a 1000 steps, along with a walk thru Kings Park. Met some nice people who gave us some great ideas for future training walks. Back to Point Peron on a Tuesday evening, climbing the steps there, need the hill training for our first days walk on the Camino up and over the Pyrenees.
