Day 8 and 27 Km's day we are well over half way thru crossing over the whole of England. Richmond is a big centre visited the market centre and saw the castle from the bridge as we headed out of town A group of school kids on the track today walking a small part of the C > C Walked thru fields of barley and lots of tar-seal roads.

Day 5 23 Km's to Newbiggin On-Lune Walked across moors and thru path ways on people's property amazing. So much easier on feet Walked in to Orton a delightful little village had lunch Staying at County House run by Hilary Stunning place Sarah very happy she doesn't have to share a room with me !!!!!!!! Hilary took us in to the closed town where we met Sheila for drinks and dinner very nice.
