Mike and I spent 2 days in Canoa, a cool beach town, popular with Ecuadorians for weekend breaks. Here we had our first ever surfing lesson, which was good fun, but hard work. My knees were rather sore after an hour of trying to get up onto the board. Mike seemed to be doing slightly better than me, until the end.....on my very last attempt, I managed to get up and actually stayed up for a good 6 seconds, wahooo!!

Apart from surfing, we just had time to chill and take a walk along the beach. Very relaxing....
