Day 1:
Waking up at 430 am, sounds easy, but when your in a small cramped hostel with 4 other people. Trying not to disturbed their sleep with the sounds of bags rustling, and bare feet slapping against the warm concrete floor. It doesnt work so well, i think we woke the entire room. However it would probably be a warm welcome compared to Alyssa's thick heavy, gurgling snores in the middle of the night. ( maybe the snores were mine... But I'm writing .. So I'm blaming her )
We drop our keys In the bin, and say good by to hong kong. As we are rushing to catch the last 530 bus with our packs strapped on our backs. As we approach our stop, with 7 mins to spare. We see out bus pull up. We begin to run across the street thinking just incase he doesn't wait. Sure enough, less than 10' from the bus, our hands waving in the air.. The bus closes its doors and drives off, driver staring at us. We had no choice but to catch a cab to the airport.
Flying a 4 hour, extremely bumpy ride to Singapore was a lot more tiring than we had thought. Especially after making our way through the airport, the extremely humid customs line. Through the extremely cold subways, getting hit with a bucket of heat and humidity when we stepped out of the subway and into chinatown. And Getting lost in china town. We make it to our hostel and decide to have a quick 30 min nap before exploring Singapore and the wonderful food it has to offer.
16 hours later... It's day 2.
