When you arrive through plane in Jong long after you go through customs you can buy bus/tram tickets. We bought the "Octopus card". Which gave us transportation to and from the airport on the train and unlimited MTR train use for three days and bus service. Cost us about HKD$150 each. It's also re-loadable at any 7-11 or transit station.

And when you leave, you can drop the card off and get HKD$50 back.
