Sitting on an overcrowded, bumpy ferry, on our way to the Ayre Batang beach of Tioman Island. Watching a kids movie, that's a cross between karate kid, power rangers, and apocalypse now. Oh! The only relief from the heat is when you step into an air conditioned shop. The showers are never really cold, always a little warm. Like jumping into an over heated pool on a hot summer day. Melaka is a different, beautiful city, full of religion, food, and no traffic rules. We arrive to a tiny, bustling city, 30deg sticky, humid heat. We make our way to our hostel in again, china town. One thing we both liked about hong Kong, if someone was sick, they wore a mask while in public. Signs about spitting were everywhere, of how it is filled with germs. We always used to make fun of people in Vancouver who wore masks. But it makes so much more sense, especially in mass transit In Singapore it's a $1000 dollar fine. Something Canada should look into,
