Hello everyone! We've started the adventure . . . Sitting at Gordon ramsay's bar at terminal 5 at heathrow airport enjoying some cocktails (9.15am) .... We're on our holidays!!!

Thank you to everyone for making our wedding weekend so special at Hillhouse, we truly had a wonderful weekend and we are still buzzing!

Friday's BBQ was one to remember, shining sun, drinks flowing, ice cream surprise and gus taking an 8 year old out whilst playing rounders .... All in all it was the perfect start to the weekend!

The main event on Saturday couldn't have been more perfect for us both, from mike showing up goldie at the gym in the morning, Colin & Rory aka rally squad who flew up to Cambuslang for the macaron mission and everyone for their love and support the day was fantastic!

The ceremony was stunning, even when a sudden gust of wind said hello to Lucy's veil, there was no stopping the good times. Thanks to Gavin for spending the ceremony stuck behind a camera for us and to everyone who helped us keep it together.

The wedding breakfast setting, food and drink were awesome even though Mike G had to resort to making stuff up get to get a laugh!

A lasting memory for us both was when we had a stroll into the walled garden to view our guests from outside the marquee. The dance floor was poetry in motion and the bar was working hard to keep up, even with a bit of help from Mr Douglas aka Tom Cruise from cocktail who went in to help/ cause carnage.

You will all have your own memories and we hope they are as good as ours and that you all had an amazing time, we certainly did and it was down to all of our amazing family and friends! The photos we're sure will tell the story!

Now to get back to the cocktails and get ready to jet off to San Francisco- oh the stress of it all!
