Hello - this is my second attempt - do not know what happened but lost my last message into cyber space. It is always difficult to start again - but this message will be much shorter.
I thought I would come and take a look at what you had been upto whilst Ian was watching the football - by the way England won 3 - 0 against Israel. What a fabulous time you are having - as I read through all the places you have visited I think how much Gran and Grandad would have loved to have been with you. If anyone loved an adventure it was Gran and Grandad and maybe that is where you get it from. I am sure they are looking down on you both and especially little Louis and Daisy and thinking how wonderful for you to have such an experience. A lot has changed since they were young but at the time I am sure the adventures still seemed as exciting. Keep up with the messages - I think it would be good to get in touch with one or two publishers and see if you could have it published when your settle down. I am sure in years to come when you look back you will say "did we really do that - did we go to all those places, did we take our two little babies with us" and we will all be able to say "yes - you did and how brave you were". How nice to meets so many nice people and no doubt you will think back and say what a difference they made to make the adventure so special. I had better go now before something happens and this little message also disappears (if the other one shows up forget it) - night night lots of love from
Auntie Rita hugs and kisses from Ian xxx
Gran & Grandad
Hi adventurers Gran and grandad here. I can see everything is going splendidly the photos are great.
Looking forward to the next lot of pictures. It was great seeing Louis with the snakes and playing football with the elephant and best of all speaking to you all on the web-cam. Never thought we could do that. It was great. We are on line now and once you get settled get in touch and hopefully we will be able to speak to you.
Made up with the messages and pictures and the children look really well. Aunty Pam is doing well at the moment. She has a wig now and we went out last night to the tapas bar in the Tower in Ormskirk. It was nice but a bit noisy as there was a wedding on but we had a nice time.
Speak to you soon we hope - Lots of love and kisses Gran & Granddad

Hi Guys
Great to see you all at the weekend. The beach looked lovely. Made me want to pack my bag and see you all there. And at 50p a kilo to wash, dry, iron and return to you I wouldn't even need to worry about getting everything ready for packing would I?
Gran and Granddad were so pleased to see you on webcam. Timing was just right! We have set the skype up but the connection keeps dropping so will have to check the memory card. Aunty Rita and Ian were made up to see and speak to you both too. And the bonus was getting our lovely kisses from the kids
Hope your trip went well and we look forward to seeing the photos and reading to blog.
Look after yourselves. Love you all - Speak to you soon XX XX XX XX

Howdy Schmicheal,
I see you're being sensibly gentle with that Tiger. Kids are fearless... doubt you'd get me in that Tiger pen without a few pints in me... and Gill - Mel Gibson in Bridge on the River Kwai?! What must you do every New Year when it's on just after Superman....!

Hi All just caught up on your blog post. Good to see you all looking so well. (A bit worried about Daisy not eating though).
Really enjoyed the history lesson (hated it at school). Dad was in Burma in the war.
Must be crazy to let the kids sit on the tigers, but what an experience.
