Hope you arrived in OZ ok. We are going away on Sat 6th for a week so wont be able to catch up on your blogs (if you have had chance to post any by then) so hope everything went alright and you didn't have too much of a "kerfuffle" at the airport or anywhere else for that matter.
Granddad + Gran were made up with the birthday video on utube. It was a pity you couldn't get through on skype when you tried to ring him on his birthday but he was really pleased that he got to speak to you on the phone
Take care and we will catch up when we get back

Hi Gill, Mike, Louis and Daisy
Just caught up with your latest blog, what an adventure your having.
I thought I was really brave trying TURKEY!! (which I loved) I bought loads of RADLEY bags at the market which are great.
What I'd give to stay in that challet on that lovely white sandy beach, it really does look like paradise.
You are all looking good and the children are looking all grown up.
Looking forward to your next blog.
Take care x

Hi guys, it's fleur here. Sorry only just got round to 'logging your blog', lost the little card you sent me then found the card under a pile of stuff yesterday! I blame the kids. Sounds like youre having a fantastic time so far, your blog is dead funny, really makes your travels come alive. You should publish them when your done, they'll become the next comedy best seller! Anyway we're all fine. Esta is now crawling and grabing everything in sight, much to Jake's annoyance, you know what it's like. Mike's op went fine and is pretty much on the mend. We sold our house for a week, well we had an offer, (the first in 2.5 years) but then they withdrew a week later- b******s!!!
That's all for now. Promise I'll be a regular blogger from now on. Take care. Love Fx
Mum + Dad
7.30 Saturday morning and I've just read your latest blog. I was laughing my head off picturing you Gill running screaming from the labrador with wings!!! It was worth getting up early for!
What fantastic experiences the children ar having (except perhaps to think that "Mike Time" is the norm). They seem to be taking to all the different envorinments and different people and languages really well. Well done you two!!
Louis you are so clever learning to snorkel like that and Daisy you are so brave touching that snake. I would have run a mile!! We are so proud of you all.
Looking forward to hearing about the next "Kerfuffle" and of course your next adventures.
Thanks so much for doing the blogs and all the photos and making the reading so funny and enjoyable. Keep them coming.
Take care when you are in OZ and don't be letting Dave + Belly lead you astray. Oh I forgot - they will be childminding wont they?! Ah and you thought letting the kids sit on the back of a tiger was scarry!!
Lots of love - wish we were there with you. Mum + Dad xx xx xx xx

Great to speak to you all today. And lovely to see the kids and getting a big kiss off Louis and several off Daisy was really good.
Gran and granddad where thrilled when you called them. They are doing so well on the computer - Gran has even bought a computer chair!
Wont be long now before you are off on your travels to OZ will it. It seems to have gone over quite quickly in one way and yet it seems like we haven't seen you all for such a long time.
Lots of love to you all anyway and we look forward to reading your next installment soon

Finally read your last post. took me about a week!
Glad to see you're still having an amazing time! I'm still enjoying myself here with some people I've met at the hostel... and of course Monsieur Bell.
We went to "Alf Stewart's" surf shop at the weekend in Bell's company car. (It has about a 6 litre Engine and you could probably fit two Mrs Lawson's from St Gregs in the boot) We expected to see Alf on the beach casually reeling in a Great White but it wasn't to be.
I've been shacked up in the room with some Koreans for the next few days... Not good... I knew there was trouble when I saw the Korean books on the empty beds last night. Koreans are the sworn enemies of the European Hosteller and I've heard it said that they are trained from an early age in the art of "bag rustle torture."
At around three am, all of their digitally syncronised alarms will go off in unison, there will be pause and then a prayer like muttering begins which increases in volume. Then the hours of intermittent bag rustling will commence.
They say it's designed to penetrate state of the art ear plugs and can drive a man insane. It's even been known to continue until 7 or even 8am (very late in the morning for a Korean)
Once they have you weeping silently in your bed, one by one a line of Black Shiny heads marches out of the door in single file. Just like little miniature Darth Vadars.
Please let them be gone when I get back... I'll be looking out for your next update. You should all be over this way pretty soon and me and Mr Bell will see you then!
Take care, Dave.

Hello everyone
I have done some more homework and looked up Pulau Perenthian -Besar Kecil, Long beach and it looks really lovely. It also says there is lots to do so I hope you keep busy with even more new activities. I suppose you will tell me I've looked up the wrong place when you read this message - but never mind I can picture you enjoying yourselves and the kids splashing round in the clear blue water. And even if this is the wrong place I'm sure you will be enjoying yourselves where ever you are.
Had a good time at the weekend. It was Shauns birthday on Sunday (23rd) so we went with Aunty Rita, Ian Shaun & Emma and we took Abbie & Adam to a really nice swimming baths in Birkenhead with a wave machine and big slides and water jets. The kids had a great time and Adam is great in the water now and Abbies swimming is coming on a treat. She swam a length in the baths. It was good for them to get together as they don't see much of each other now. We finished off with tea at the KFC and even Adam eat his in double quick time.
When we were in the baths the kids kept talking about you all and saying what would Louis and Daisy be doing now and how good it would be if they were with them.
We all miss you and we all wish we were having as much fun - mind you I don't know what your dad would be like running for planes, busses, boats and trains, credit cards misbehaving and lizards falling from the ceiling!!!
Hope to catch you soon on Skype but I know you are having trouble connecting where you are now so we will just have to wait wont we?
We go to Spain 6th October so hope to speak to you before we go or it will seem like forever.
Look after yourselves and give Louis and Daisy a big hug and kiss. Speak to you soon I hope

Hi,
Being able to keep up with all your adventures has been fab. I need an edited version though as Mack is not too keen on me reading for anything longer than 30 seconds! He has been quite taken with your photos though and will sit with me for ages looking at the snaps. He couldn't quite get his head round Louis and Daisy in the balls and just kept pointing and saying 'ball' with a puzzled look! He was made up with the monkey pics and did his impression of a monkey with ever changing photo!
Glad in the main everything is going well and it sounds like you are having such a fantastic experience, not that I am jealous at all!
My only news is that I am pregnant! Bit of a shock and took a while to sink in after all the messing trying for Mack. I am 11 weeks and going for scan next week so baby should be due mid April.
Anyway, happy travels and love to you all, Kelxx
Liz, John And Ella
Hello
I do think you are both officially crazy! Only messing.
I think its marvellous everything you go through and how well you cope with things when they don't go to plan. But I suppose all the mishaps are outweighed by the great experience that you are all getting.
Can you imagine your John! We would have well been back in Maghull at this point!
Your latest adventures had me laughing my head off. I think my favourite picture was of your hire car amongst the market stalls. It could only happen to you!
Ella says she misses you all all and sends you big hugs and kisses.
We miss you all too. It was great speaking to you the other day Gill. You missed another bar opening this week. One of my clients was opening a new Asian themed bar in town, but you know the free beer would have run out as soon as we'd got there if we had have gone! How many times has that happened to us?
Anyway must dash and get the chimp ready for school. She's already arguing with me this morning telling me she's doing her own hair. By the time I get to school my blood pressure will be through the roof!
Bye for now. Hoping to speak to you again very soon.

Hi All
Great to read your latest blog, found it very funny. I think you are going to be very famous authors by the time you reach New Zealand. It's good you can laugh about your mishaps (i'm afraid I couldn't).
Dave and I are off to Turkey on Friday, I will catch up with your blog when we get back. Hope we don't come across any creepy crawlies or lizards!!
Glad the kids are enjoying the majority of your adventure.
