hi guys, glad to see you're all keeping and looking well;island pics are brilliant. the place looks gorgeous and all of you seem really relaxed. not too sure about the flies on the last set of pics though!however with fantastic park facilities and drive through off licences i could probably put up with it!
not much goin on here, went to "Dr Bunheads science show" with kids on friday which was good-lots of talk about poo+farts, louis and daisy would've loved it! had planned to go to blackpool tonight for fair and lights but adams got up and been sick so thats a no go.
ive got a car now!been out a couple of times with kev (yes we are still married!) and dad has (reluctantly)said he'll go out with me aswell, need as much road practice as possible;even more keen to pass test now.
have only got 3 sessions left of childminding course, unfortunately it will take a couple of months for registration to go through but at least im on the way.
take care and give the kids a big kiss from me, lisa.xx

G,day u sports,
Well, back from Spain yesterday, some funny weather out there. On the day we planned to go to Valencia, there was a violent storm, the works. Some people in Valencia were killed when a road bridge collapsed. Drove to Benidorm instead, Jesus, what a tacky place. Not quite like swimming with turtles, more like floating with beer guts. I'm a bit surprised that you did'nt get "rubber gloved" for confessing to carrying a (toy) sword through customs at Perth. The cops here are confiscating dayglo toy space guns off little boys, the pc (pun) world is mad, and getting madder. You paint a great picture of the places that you have visited, keep it up.
I missed the Derby game, I was at the Airport so could'nt watch it live. Well, it tickled me pink to see the bluenoses get a dose of their own medicine later on TV. Although I think David Moyes did well in his interview, acquited himself well. Benitez, is he a bit mad???
Keep on enjoying your adventure.
Best wishes, and safe journey.
Mum
Thanks guys - 8.00am Saturday morning and its worth it. Great to see you all looking so well and congratulations to Gill, Louis and Daisy for doing so well with their swimming etc... Maybe Louis and Daisy are our future Olympic hopes!!
I know you are all so far away even when I speak to you on skype or on the phone but its really funny that when I see the kids wearing something I'm used to seeing them in I feel like they are closer. Looking at Daisy in her little cardi with the pink flower on - I can just see her here. Very comforting.
Glad the weather picked up in OZ. Its horrible when your first impression is a bad one but its amazing how much difference the good weather (and warm water) makes isn't it?
So good to speak to you on Skype and really glad you have got your blog running again - we have missed it so much. Even when things go wrong you can put the funny side out (maybe not at the time)
Think Dads got a sport day planned - Golf this morning, rushing home for the Derby match and then the Rugby not forgetting the racing - Fingers crossed for Louis Hamilton
Well keep them coming - we miss you all so much but you sound like you are having a ball and you are all learing so much.
Lots of love and xx xx xx xx Mum

Hello,
Here I am reading over your messages and wondering what are we doing here in England in the cold with the dark nights getting earlier every day. After the lovely weather we had in Spain it seems even colder. Frost is promised but has not arrived yet. Ian and your dad have been watching the football -after getting off to a good start England lost to Russia 3 - 1. Let us hope the Rugby gives England a better result. Then of course there is the derby game on Saturday - difficult to say who you hope should win. Let us say I hope it is a good match and best team will win? I think Daisy and Louis will find it difficult to settle down into a boring routine such as school after all their adventures but they will have lots of fabulous stories to tell everyone about their adventures. Your Mum tells me all about your blog and what you have been up to - they were especially pleased when you gave Gran and Grandad a look around your room with the babies all tucked up for the night. Thelma has done very well with the skype - just shows you what you can do when you have to. I have spoken to David who is looking forward to seeing you all. He hoped to hear some news about a job he had applied for - but I have not heard from him so can only assume he has not heard anything yet. I bet you are looking forward to seeing New Zealand - it won't be long now before you are there - the start of another adventure. Keep happy, look after yourselves and of course the babies. Lots of love from Auntie Rita and Ian xxxx

Hi all, sat down earlier with my cup of tea and a bag of sweets ready to catch up on the comedy, how disappointing, nothing since last time I looked, get typing! Say hello to our Dave for me, wish we were there - without the crawlies though!

Are you going to see uncle Dave in Australia? Dave is painting and making a lot of mess, he is a chimney because he smokes ciggys but he is working very hard. It is raining here and we are off next week.

Hello all - Sorry we missed you when you skyped. We were on our way home from Spain. We had a great time - weather was fabulous but unlike yourselves we used our week to do absolutely nothing except lay in the sun, read our books and down more than a few alcoholic beverages.
Couldn't wait to see your latest blog but really glad in a way that you hadn't posted one as I don't feel like I've missed out on reading it as well as missing your skype.
Hope you are all keeping ok and still having fun. Give our love to Daisy and Louis. We miss you all like mad!
Speak to you soon I hope. Lots of love Mum & Dad xx xx xx xx

Hi everyone
Sorry I've not left a message for a while but you know how it is! I do check most days though to see whether you've updated.
It was lovely to hear from you, Gill, on my birthday. I can't believe I didn't recognise you (think it was more I wasn't expecting the phone call though!). But there again what other mad woman would sing 'Happy Birthday' to me down the phone. It could only have been you!
Your latest blog has had me in stitches once again. You pair should seriously think about writing a book. You could make millions and then just have a permanent holiday!
Anyway hope you are all well and still having fun.
John and Ella are fine. I'm growing by the day. Hopefully I will stop soon! I am beginning to panic now what size this baby is going to be.
Hoping to speak to you and see you very soon!
Lots and lots of love, hugs and kisses to all of you.

PS Let me know what you want us to do about birthdays and xmas, especially with Daisys coming up. x

Hi de Hi.
Rumuors of my demise have been greatly exagerated, sorry I haven't been on for a while, I don't seem to use the PC as much as I used to.
What a great story you tell, and its great to see that a wonderful time is being had by all. The last essay would have got a gold star from my old english master, good old Mr Wilson. Its really good to see that Louis is enjoying the things that such a diverse holiday can offer, the experience will doubtless benefit the kids through life. It will be great for them to be able to regale future mates with their exploits around the world. Not many people will have experienced such a journey.
Our Dave is running around Sydney with some relative of the sherrif of Nottingham, ever the hedonist, he's having a good time. No sign of a sponsered job yet, but I expect that he will come good eventually, either that, or it'll be life as a farmers "gofer".
Me. I'm beavering away doing what I feel like doing, and sending the deserving on lengthy holidays now and again.
We are off to Spain tomorrow (9th Oct) hope to meet up with Frostie, who is out there for a few weeks. Best of luck securing child minding services from you know who!
Beware of kerfuffles, and look after yourselves.
Best wishes, and safe journey
Helen
Hello!
Oh it was so so lovely to speak to you today and I just want to say a huge thank you for phoning. I've had a huge grin on my face since you called and you have brightened up a very miserable October for me (I did have a little cry again when you went off the phone but tears of absolute joy to know you can still make me nearly wet myself laughing while on the other side of the world)
Lots and lots of love. Stay lovely and stay you.
