Hello to you happy wanderers,
We received your card today - absolutely fabulous - maybe that is what you should do - set up business designing personalised cards for all. I think they are really, really fabulous and the children look so happy.
Your mum told me she had been speaking to you and you have settled down well in New Zealand. After the initial trauma that is nice to hear. The children seem to have made friends too.
But reality is now looming and I hear the job front is under discussion - oh well all things have to come to an end at some time - to make room for new adventures.
Ian and I wish you all a wonderful first Christmas in New Zealand - I am sure you will all be very happy there - and 2008 will be a new adventure for you all.
Give our love to all in New Zealand.

Hello happy wanderers,
We arrived back from our holiday in Egypt yesterday - very tame compared to your adventures. I thought I was being very adventurous snorkeling off the coral reef - I was quite happy until I reached the edge and looked ovcer to see a sheer drop into a bottomless pit of beautiful coloured fish. Gritting my teeth I went over the edge - yes I told myself no problem - must do it again tomorrow. My next adventure was the camel ride - sheer terror. Juast getting my legs onto the saddle had everyone in stitches. After standing up it then decided to go down on its front legs almost tipping me over the top. Once we got moving I thought well it isn't too bad after all until for some reason the camel reared up nearly tipping me off the back - good job we had the support at the back which kept me from slipping off the back. You can imagine my newly found confidence was disappearing fast - especially as the camel had now pulled the lead out of the hand of my leader and it looked like I was on my own - all I could see was the dessert and the mountains. I was too scared to scream in case all the camels went into a stampede. I slowly leaned over and said can you please just keep hold of my camel as I do not want to be lost in the dessert. At least the first time I said it I said it quietly the third or forth time it became a little more hysterical. Eventually we arrived at the Bedwin camp - all I needed to do then was to get off the camel. Down it went on its knees (I was prepared this time - not too bad) then can you believe it started to roll over - I lept off its back with a new found energy very pleased to have both feet back on the floor. Sitting star gazing in the dessert seemed a littIe bit of an anticlimax after the camels. However it was so dark the stars were incredible. It was not until we got back onto the bus that we noticed we had had three armed police with us whilst we were in the desert. Perhaps there were more things happening in the desert than we were aware of - just as well maybe. We have just spoken to David on skype he seems very pleased with his job and looking forward to meeting Ian in Thailand and you in New Zealand. Not sure where we will all meet up but no doubt we will get something arranged. Your Mum and Dad have just popped in apparently we are going to a barn dance tonight. Better get myself moving - going i into Liverpool do a little Christmas shopping (will be thinking about you Gill).
Give our love to Daisy and Louis they seem to be having such a good time. The party looked great - I bet there are not many 3 year olds celebrating a party in such fabulous surroundings.
Your mum and dad are looking forward to seeing you - good job your dad will be retiring soon - he will have lots of time to make the travel itinerary it all sounds very exciting. Keep the blog up especially the photographs. Lots of love Auntie Rita and Ian xx

Great blog as always. Hope that you settle in ok, hello to Daisy and Louis from Shaun and Emma. Just bought our Daves car off him and wondering if my face will recover from the gforce, frightened the life out of Shaun and M when I forgot I wasn't in my Clio pulling out at a junction!

Hello everyone
It was great to speak to you all when you were staying at Petes. The connection was really good and we could actually see what you looked like this time! You all look so well. How did the fluffy penguins go?
Well Daisy what can I say - Three already!! It looks like you got lots of presents and you all had a great time on your birthday. Mum and Dad were very busy weren't they - decorating Britney and getting your party ready with the expert help of Louis of course. Well done all of you
Well another country and another adventure on the way and it doesn't sound as if there were any kerfuffles this time either. You must be getting the hang of things.
The blogs and photos once again were brilliant. Loved them all - just wish we could have been there.
Lots of love to you all - we miss you loads and loads
Love Mum & Dad xx xx xx xx

Got your emails, hope you're enjoying NZ. Don't do that Bunjee until I get there!!
How's the weather there? Is she a bit cold? (I can hear the horrified scream of Mike's wallet as the moths (not flies) rush out for the purchase of newer, warmer clothes!)
At least Daisy will be okay in her Dorothy the Dinosaur outfit. It took me weeks to get that Wiggles song about Dorothy's Rosey tea out of my head by the way Mike. Ah... time to do some work... dah dee dah...

Hi to you all
Just been reading your latest blog and looking at your photos.
How long is your hair now Daisy? Its gorgeous. Before you know it, it'll be as long as Ellas!
You look like you had a fab birthday. Wish we could've been there. I could do with one of those breakfasts right now!
And how grown up does Louis look? And doing so well with his swimming.
Sorry I never got to speak to you on Daisys birthday and when you skyped at the weekend. If I stay up past 9.30 pm these days its a miracle!
You're all looking great and we're still missing you loads.
I'm going to another bar opening tomorrow night Gill. So you will be missed! This one is circus themed and there's supposed to be some kind of freak show on. John keeps telling me I won't get out of the place! I'm a bit more concerned about whether they'll offer him a full time job! I'll have to let you know what its like and whether you've missed out on more than 2 free drinks.
Hopefully next time you're online I'll get to speak to you.
Love, hugs and kisses to you all.
