Hi everyone,

Kuta is still very busy, and is alot hotter than Ubud, which is slightly higher up. But here there is a bit of a breeze as we are on the coast so that helps alot.

Today we experienced snow in Bali! We visited an ice sculpture place in the car park of an outdoor shoppping centre. It was -20 C! The carvings were incredible though, and there were even slides made of ice! Mike, of course, couldn't resist the slide... regretting it when he reached the bottom and landed on a frozen mat. At the bottom was snow and igloo's. We were given long coats to keep us warm but we could still feel our noses freezing up lol!

We have been watching dvds in the cafes and relaxing with a cold drink. We will visit the beach tomorrow for some sunbathing - something we haven't actually done much of, so we still look as though we have just spent winter in England!
