Another beautiful day and I snuck out for an early run, returning in a disgusting state but feeling on top of the world. Tea, followed by breakfast, set us up perfectly for another day on the beach, this time heading down the coast to Bronte. It was more sea, sunshine and golden sand before we had lunch on the front and then returned to our warm area of beach. The surf was monstrous and made entertaining watching, reinforcing my decision to leave the surfboard at home. We satisfied ourselves with a charge into the surf and it confirmed the sheer power of the waves and the fragility of Bob's bikini!
We returned to the flat via the supermarket and Bob suggested we went out for an evening run, which we did. The steps challenge in Cooper Park nearly killed me but as the sun set we headed home in a very sweaty mess. The guys were pulling a late one at work so we watched the new game of thrones episodes before eating salmon, couscous and salad with our faithful Anzac biscuits for pudding. Luke had managed to get Thursday Friday off so we set about planning our adventures and ignoring the weather forecast.
