hallo from munchen, well we have had quite a busy couple of days in Munich seeing everything from beer halls, castles and palaces to crazy brazillians and aussies dancing in the streets. We have tried a lot of german food including pretzels, ubuzter (dip made from camembert cheese and butter), kaiser shman (a german dessert) enormous ice cream sundaes, tiramisu and of course a lot of beer!!! The other night we went to the famous German Beer Hall the Hofbrauhaus and were surrounded by Aussies and Brazillians dressed up, dancing and singing ole ole ole ole, brazil brazil, which soon turned into ole ole ole ole aussie aussie, then the tunes changed to waltzing matilta, the national anthem and tie me kangraoo down! very funny. the best part was seeing everyone get on so well, the brazillians were dancing around with a blow up kangaroo and everyone was clanging glasses and cheersing and wishing each other good luck. Yesterday we went to te Olympic Stadium to watch the aussie v brazil match. Everywhere you looked was yellow and green! The atmosphere was amazing, and the amount of people was insane. Today we leave for Salzburg, cant wait to revisit te sound of music sights again! and also have some schnitel and strudel!! hope all is well at home. keep the messages coming! Solberg x
