Hi all, Just a short update on the tials and tribulations associated with travelling ... To get to spain we booked a flight from Rome to Barcelona. We arrive at the airport and the flight was cancelled due to a bloody strike at barcelona airport. Thus we had to stay in rome in a matchbox... We had to reroute to madrid... though when we got off the plane? bec and chantals backpacks didnt join us ... We are all sharing clothes right now ... happy little fam...

Good bye Greece...hello Italy!!! We arrived in Rome after a mad race to the airport with a greek cab driver who told us many times that he was CRAZY as he sped all the way!! The island is so magnificient due unfortunately to a volcano eruption and earthquake ... in the middle of the island a volcano erupted causing a massive hole which in turn is full of water ... this is called the Caldera. Hi all, Just a short messge to let you know of last nights adventures... we hired a car and headed down to the much anticipated Paradise Beach, where we hit the water and sunbaked all afternoon, with the music pumping. The atmosphere is electric ! We started dancing and getting involved about 3pm and from that time until 12am, the car was broken into, and mine and chantals bags were stolen from the car. we lost phones, cameras and bags ... a bit of a shame, ...
