Home sweet home.
Well, it has been a pleasure writing this blog. I hope you have enjoyed reading it, just as much as I have enjoyed writing it!!
I know that this blog is going to serve as a reminder, of the many life long memories of towns, countries and people I have met along the way, on this life changing experience for me!!
I can't believe that 4 months have past, since I headed off on this epic journey. I thought that I would have been nervous.... however never felt these expected nerves, which may in fact just indicate how crazy I am!!!
So after 17 counties, 33 flights, more than 93 flight hours, countless number of bus and boat rides, I have made my way through Central and South America. I have enjoyed my journey immensely, and will take so much from what I have experienced.
I hope to always remember to be grateful for the simple things in my life, like my family and friends, being able to drink water straight from the tap, clean my teeth with tap water, having hot water immediately when I turn the shower on, in fact just having hot water at all, and being able to flush toilet paper down the toilet!!
I'm grateful for all of my new friends that I have made along the way, many of which I know will be life long friends forever!! I was blessed to meet all of you, and I know that you were all an integral part of my journey!! Thank you!!
So the time has now come, to hang up my blog duties, unpack my bags and catch up with my dear family and friends, who I have missed immensely!!
I know that this journey has only inspired me to continue to travel, and see more of this beautiful world. I hope that you can join me on my next journey... which hopefully won't be too far away!!
