Hello Sausages
Hello Sausages,
Well I've had the most amazing week of my life (so far)
I arrived in Chiang Mai on Monday and have just left which is Sunday, I'm staying overnight at a guesthouse called Namkong before I take a fast boat to Laos which will take seven hours. So it's bye bye to Thailand for the next 10 days as I've been persuaded to go to the full moon party on the 26th which means I spend a week in Laos, then a week in Hanoi then to Ko Pang Yang for PARTYING. I am then going to go through Cambodia and through to Saigon where I will catch my plane to Bali then Sydney.
The last week has been fabulous,I have been learning more phrases to add to my whatever trevor etc, I now am saying Same Same but different, I love you long time and the best one is Oh my Buddah! Rocky our tour guide was teaching me these.
I went on a 3 day trek which was alot of walking up steep mountains to see Hill tribes for 3-5 hours a day, we stayed with the Hilltribes for 2 nights with no electricty only candles, beer, a guitar and silly games that Tid the mad guide was making up. So we met at 9.30 on the first day for a 2 hour drive to the jungle then a 3 hour walk till we reached our first stop, the walk was very hard and scary as we had steep drops if you got your footing wrong, luckly none of us did though I very nearly did, the next day we went on a 3 hour walk to this waterfall which we could all swim in and it was lovely, we then walked again to the elephants which was amazing I was with 2 guys on my elephant and neither of them wanted to sit on the head so of course I did which I thought was alot easier then the wooden things as before I thought I was going to fall our, my elephant was lovely and you steer them by lightly tapping there ears with your foot (my legs were behing his ears) we walked with them for 2 hours to our next camp and stayed the night we played really stupid games that night and if you got something wrong you got black soot put on your face, I was looking very attractive with my black goatie! The next day we walked and walked and walked to the bamboo rafting which was so much fun, but I managed to steer us into a tree where all 4 of us went in the water, then I ran off the raft taking the main driver (if that's what you can call him - he steers with a bamboo stick) because I had a hornet chasing me (It was HUGE) then it was back home to Nice Place 2. That night we went to see the Thai Kickbocing championships then to Bubbles (our local nightclub which we always go to and love) and I ended up pulling David who is very sexy, French with longish hair, he plays the guitar so well (he used to be in a band) and is so nice and made us all laugh very much on the trek - I'll pop some more pictures up soon so you can all give me your opinions! Had a fabulous night and realise I like French men alot, the accent there manners David was wonderful. He wants to meet up in Laos but I'm not too sure as it might ruin the memories of the fab night if something goes wrong - hmmm I'll keep you posted.
Well that's about it, I'm meeting lovely people all the time, Australians, Danish, English, Irish and Candians - people are lovely and chilled out.
We've had a bunch of 5-8 of us hanging around but now the Irish girls and I are off - they are so sweet and lovely they call snogging Shifting and are teaching me some Irish.
Thanks for all your emails - sorry I haven't replied but there is so much going on sometimes I just don't have enough hours in the day.
Anyway - Love you all long time and will write from Laos.
