Another busy few days... infact I'm going a bit fast so chilling in Nelson for a few days to slow down! The only problem being is bloody freezing!!
So, had fun in Rotoura, swam in geothermal hot spas, and went to a cultural Malori show. Next day when and saw the lady knox geyzer expolde which was pretty impressive and to the wai-o-tapu park, which was full of mini volcanoes. There was a lake that was bright yellow from all the sulphur. Some good photos from that.
Enroute to Taupo I decided to do a skydive! 12,000 feet, I was s***ting it! Got a hilarious video that I can't upload for some reason, but lets say its definatley 18 rated!! Amazing experience though, would definatley do it again. Went soooo fast, cried in the plane on the way up, and cried again when I was on the ground! Expensive but worth it thats for sure! Good thing my instructor was called Brad Rock, or I would have freaked out more for sure!!
Next up was in Wellington the capital for one night. Enroute stopped at some amazing mountains and volcanoes, one of them being Mount Doom! Amazing scenery. Also managed to master "bus bowling" on the magic bus!! Went to a massive museum (Te Papa) and out for a few drinks that evening too. It was a nice city, much better than Auckland! Then caught the ferry from the North Island to the South Island. What a difference! Its sooo cold down here!! Just shilling out in Nelson until Friday, then off to Greymouth and Franz Josef glacier, before spending a week in Queenstown.
