Got up at 10:00 today and went for an omelette at a cafe around the corner from our guesthouse...

Today is tubing day!! I really wasn't all that bothered about doing it as someone told us the locals hate it and we've kayaked down the river anyway...
Anyway Annie wanted to do it still so we agreed to go for an hour... 8 hours later we were still there, wrecked, drowning, loosing each other and having an amazing time!!

We waited until 1pm to go and took 100kip, £7 and it wasn't enough! So had to walk back home them back again with the equivalent of about £10 for the full day, and half of that was a deposit!!

They arranged a tuk tuk for us so we got on and met Jackie and CiCi from New York! They were so nice! When we arrived at the river we got a boat across to the first bar at the other side, Q Bar!

The madness began straight away! As soon as you dock there's staff waiting to greet you to give you free bracelets, admission fee is you have to down a shot of whiskey to enter! Kill me!

We ordered a whiskey and red bull bucket to share, as this was the cheapest bucket so we only just had enough cash for two! Tastes vile at first but after the first ones down, the rest is history! :s

While we drank our bucket there we met Allie and Cat who work in Bangkok! We also met some randomers from Chile and from Amsterdam but we didn't spend all day with them... In fact I was so drink I have no idea where they went, the river must have swept them away!

After our drinks we were ready to go do something so we took our tubes and floated our way along the river! As its rainy season the river is over 9 metres deep and flows very fast! So we all held hands with each other like our lives depended on it! Allie and cat Still drifted off a little but managed to grab a rope and pull themselves in... Otherwise we wouldn't have seen them again!

We got to Star bar the next bar along, and they threw a rope for us and pulled us in! They have stairs going into the river so once your close enough you jump in! We had our iPhones in waterproof cases tied around our necks but I was still so paranoid... And our remaining 30,000kip in one hand! You can imagine me, dripping wet, jumping into a river, swimming to the staircase with my iPhone and money in one hand trying to keep dry! There was nothing subtle about it!

Got another whiskey red bull bucket and after the barman poured a cup full of whiskey in he decided he may as well pour the rest of the bottle in, so half a bottle of whiskey in the end! Can't complain if it's free though :) we then had to all do another shot as admission, by now I'm ready to vom and we'd not even started on our drink yet, then there was one shot left over which the woman then made me drink! Great!

We sat on the terrace of the bar in the sun drying out, when an australian unnamed girl came and joined us. She was dressed as a leopard! She asked us just how wrecked we wanted to be before we played cards and me and annie just looked at each other! Silly question!

She got the cards out and played the most random game ever, I think she made the rules up as she went along! Basically if I put down a 9 over a 5, there's 4 cards missing so you drink four shots! Mine and Annie's bucket was gone within ten minutes :/

So when i ran out of alcohol me and CiCi went to go play Jenga! I thought Jenga was harmless right? Wrong! If you managed to pull a block out they all have a forfeit written in them which you must do, you had to swap clothes with someone from the opposite sex, kiss someone of the same sex, and one poor girl had to be held by her legs upside down while she had 2 litres of beer poured in her mouth! I think I would've passed out!

After that we were gonna play twister, they have a twister board with a shower above it! It got messy! Until one girl slipped and everybody came crashing down and her arm was all grazed! I decided I'd just drink the free beer CiCi gave me and watch! We all then decided to leave after a few hours and then had to help Allie and Cat finish there bucket! Theres no helping me now, my liver is going to hate me!!!

We got back in our tubes and headed off for the next bar, we missed the rope! They kept on throwing it for us to reel it in again! And this made us laugh even more and get worse at trying to catch it! We'd now missed the bar and was heading backwards down the river!! Someone must have let go somewhere and we lost Annie, Cat and Jackie!! They were being swept away by the river but me, CiCi and Allie managed to get into the opposite side, where a bar man had caught the rope from the bar for us! Embarrassing!

He helped the three of us get across, we got to to the staircase and CiCi who was infront of me jumped in and landed, I assumed the water must have been shallow here and didn't realise she was actually holding on to the staircase! So I just jumped right in as you do and ended up falling under the water, getting carried away by the current, lost both of my flip flops, lost my tube, lost all possessions and lost what little dignity I had!

Managed to only just get up and to safety I thought My iPhone was long gone! :( A poor girl that was casually floating along alone noticed my flip flops floating down the river and managed to grab them for me!

We were far too drunk to register the name of this bar but anyway Annie and the other half of the group managed to make it there too! I was forced yet another shot! They just taste like water to me now ;)

We were casually dancing on the dance floor when they turned on a huge shower! Great! Healthandsafety.org! Still, we're already drenched through in river water so who cares, it also filled up a half full cocktail bucket that we all ended up drinking! :/ Bleugh!

On a table next to the bar I noticed someone had just left an iPhone laying around, how stupid can some people be to just leave expensive possessions exposed to all these drunken idiots in the middle of a bar! I hate hearing story's of people just leaving stuff then them getting nicked! So I picked it up and was gonna try and find whose it was to return it! Pressed the unlock button and realised it was mine!!! :o ooops!! I didn't even realise it was gone from around my neck! Clearly I'm slightly more intoxicated than I thought :/

We headed off to the 4th bar where they have a trapeze that leads to the middle of the river! As soon as we arrived I was far too scared to just jump straight in, I asked a total stranger next to me how deep it was and she said "come on il show ya"... We were stood at the edge of the balcony and we just jumped straight in hand in hand! I've never been so petrified for my life!

Once we were back at the balcony again the three random people were leaving, so left me with their full whisky bucket! It tastes so much better when it's free! :D

Finally plucked up the courage to go on the trapeze! Me and Cat did it together, but when we counted to three, I jumped up as she jumped forward, which left us spinning and then ended with me dropping into the river! I don't think Cat dare let go! Fail!

If at first you don't succeed, try again! Who cares, it's not like a bar full with 50 people are watching us anyway... Oh wait, yes they are! We got it together this time and managed to make it all the way to the middle of the river before letting go and flying off! Then theres a guy to throw you a rope to pull you back in but I swear sometimes he's more interested in checking out the girls in bikinis than what he is in saving your life! So sometimes you casually drown there for a few minutes, but hey-ho!

When we got bored of the trapeze we tubed along to slide bar and did zip wire into the river! This was hilarious! You have to hold on until the end to make it the middle of the river and Annie kept letting go after a few seconds and plummeting into the water! It's hard to hold on though when your completely wasted, everywhere is soaking wet, and your dangling metres above a green river!

At one point I had to wait to let a group of guys tubing down the river get out of the way but the guy said just go and they'll be gone! I had to hold on for my life incase I hit the poor guys! Made it to the end where I had to let go and only just missed them! They weren't too happy about the splash I caused... Oops! ;)

It got to dusk around 6pm when we were supposed to back with our tubes so we had now lost our deposit! :/ we set off and just floated down the river together for 30 minutes as it got dark! We got some people tagging along with us too holding and singing rolling on a river!

I tried letting go and floating across to Annie, when she decided it would be funny to leave go of my hand and let me float off alone! When someone shouted "ALLOGATOR... Behind you!" I actually had a heart-attack and paddled as hard and fast as I could! Imagine Fred Flinstone trying to power his motorless car with his legs and feet! :)

It was now pitch black and we passed a small dock where there were guys trying to help pull us in, we grabbed on and managed to get on the dock where they had a tuk tuk waiting to take us back to the town... Jackie somehow let go and ended up floating off down the river with some group of guys on her own... Fading into the darkness! There's nothing we could do to grab her the tuk tuk guys just said shel get off at the next pier!! :/ totes scary!!

We got back to the town and me and Annie left to get a shower before tea... A total of: 3 buckets, 1 beer and 5 shots, I think it's pretty safe to say I was slightly tipsy! Annie was walking without any flip-flops and I didn't even notice!

We went to shower and then to eat, Annie wanted to go meet the girls at a bar in the town but I would've never made it there without being sick! So I went to the noodle soup stall down the street and sat in there alone :(

Got back to the room and was just going to go to sleep, this is around 9pm! Felt like it was in the am! Got to the door and realised I had lost the room key! Retraced my steps back to the shops and found the key sat on the table at the restaurant I was sat in... Ooopsies! That was a close call!

By the time I got back to the room I had eaten and wasn't sick anymore, also too much red bull, I was wide awake again! But I couldn't go find the girls, I didn't know where they were :/ so stayed up all night on my phone, drunk texting the ex as you do... :( and feeling pretty sorry for myself! I think I may have even cried a little... Haha!

Mother goose then decided to reply to messages at 3:00AM! Which woke me up again for a few more hours! Lessons learned today:... Never drink whisky!
Never drink red bull! Never use phone when drunk!!!
