Today we actually did something productive! We booked a tour! We still slept in until lunch however ;) all that harmonious singing of mine last night just wiped me out! Even though I hardly have to try! ;)

We want to climb a volcano! Indonesia is volcano central since most of its islands are made up of the remains of one huge eruption thousands of years ago. It some of the most active Volcanoes in the world so I want to be able to say I've climbed the tallest one!

Krakatoa, situated between, Java and Sumatra was considered to have the loudest eruption in modern history, from 3,000miles away! It killed almost 40,000 people as well as 2/3rds of the island! Just our luck that volcano is currently erupting right now so we cannot climb it!

So instead we are staying in Bali and going to climb the most active Volcano here, Mount Batur! Last erupted 12 years ago which seems pretty safe to me and our tour guide is a local aboriginal whos lived by the volcanoes sulphuric lake his whole life! So he's seen it's eruption and had his home destroyed, I reckon he'l have a few stories to tell!

We're setting off at 2:00am in the morning so we can get to the summit by 6:00 am for the sunrise! It'l be summit else! ;)

So we actually stayed in on the night! Still got zero sleep though!
