Amsterdam!!!!!!

What a great weekend! We did it all....pancakes, red light, biking tours, Heineken Brewery and more red light.

No mater how much you hear about the Red Light District, it always comes as a shock when you actually see it...seeing is definetly believing! It felt as though we were in the center of the word for all the sins man could desire. It gave a certain energy to the city that seemed to encourage it's visitors to let go and give in to the sinful nature of the red light.

We had a great time visiting and exploring the city. It was also nice to have been part of an over booking at our hotel which resulted in an upgrade to their 5 star sister hotel.

On the second day we rented bikes for the day and toured the outskirts of the city. We discovered the many dikes and enjoyed the architecture. I was impressed at how nice the buildings were and how modern they are. Amsterdam is definetly ahead in terms of architecture if you ask and engineers point of view.
