We are now leaving Korea with some sadness, Korea has been a lot more than we had expected, the people, the scenery, it has all been amazing and we are very glad we started here. All the places we visited, including the cities were something to see, but we enjoyed the countryside the most, the mountains were incredible and the riding was amazing with some incredibly winding roads and view from them.
Now we are on the ferry to Vladivostok and wondering what Russia will bring us, none of our fears or concerns came true in Korea, so why should we be worried about Russia? Getting onto the ferry at Donghae was easy. We had been in email contact with a gentleman from DBS Cruise Ferries and he had arranged everything for us. We are not so sure about Russia as we haven't made any contacts there. We stayed in our cheapest hotel last night, 30,000 Won, about $26 a night! It was quite funny, we had to wait until 7pm for the hot water to come on, but the room had heated floors! The important thing was we had one of our best night sleeps since we left Australia.
