Patience

Hey there folks you will all be pleased to know that I survived the Food Poisoning experience and live to tell the tale..see me when I get back home for details.

It is both of us today updating the blog and as the name of the blog update suggests we are required to have patience in Laos relating to culture, local customs, transport (Connex South Eastern ain't got a patch on Laos Bus Services) and Internet.

As a result of this we do not have any new uploaded photo's and we are about to go underground again so it will be a while before we are able to enthrall you with the delights of South East Asia (Laos) travel.

Highlights of the past 2 weeks include:

• Micha's Birthday - including 1st class bus ride, brithday hotel and his touchy feelie party companion (a male we might addd)
• Bus rides with the locals including Chickens, Turkeys, Candy Sales Mafia, Roasted Crickets on a stick, BBQ Squirrel and Chicken on a stick with ground dirt/sand seasoning
• Street cred part II - our lovely bicycles complete with Granny basket used to go on a Beerlao crawl
• State of the Art (read luxury) Hotel in downtown Thakhek all for $20 a night including breakfast

Not sure when we will next update the blog as we are going to a place called Si Phan Don (Four Thousand Islands) followed by Cambodia departing from Laos on 2 Feb. Worst case scenario you'll have to wait until 2nd half Feb when we return to Thailand.
