Did a 9 hour dirve from Taupo to Wellington, should have only taken 3, but Duncan the Kiwi guy who gave me a life, insisted on showing me every bit of scenery there was along the way. At first i didn't mind, and thought it was a great way to spend a sunny sunday. But after about 7 hours, my enthusiasm faded and i just wanted to get to Wellington. Wellington is the capital of NZ, and is much like anyother city. Full of McDonalds, Subways, Burger Kings, Starbucks...good old globalisation! Was some really good (and free) Muesums in Wellington. They kept me entertain for the day before i got the ferry over to the South Island!
