Our last few days in Xi'an all rolled into one really-we spent most of the day after the terracotta warriors looking around markets-haggling was great fun, though impossible to tell if we managed to get a good deal on anything! We also tried a mixture of street foods-some were tastier than others! We also went to a fairly large temple complewx called the temple of 8 immortals, which was really nice to see-there were no crowds, and it was nice and peaceful and easy to get a sense of how the larger temples we had visited were when they were in use-long before huge throngs of tourists could disturb the peace. On the friday, we took our flight back to Beijing, ready to make the most of our last few days in China!
