Today we visited Regensberg, another very charming German medieval town. This town has a famous stone bridge where King Richard the Lion Heart crossed. It is also renowned to be the town where Oskar Schindler saved over 1200 Jews.
Next to Munich or Munchen Sud, a bustling and exciting city, where the most impressive building is the ultra modern BMW headquarters with four connected towers resembling 4 engine cylinders. We climbed hundreds of stairs to the top of St Peter's tower for a bird's eye view of Munich square. At 5 pm the figurines of the town hall clock become animated.
We enjoyed visiting the fruit market and the marvelous shops.
