Today we begun our tour through Germany. Our tour guide Andee gave us an entertaining and informative lesson re European modern history. There is a magnificent Catholic cathedral in Cologne which fortunately survived bombing in the second world war. It's gothic in style and its size is immense.
We toured through beautiful country side passing quaint German villages straddling the valleys.
Next a cruise along the River Rhine and view medieval hilltop castles.
