Dear Diary (06/12),

Today is the big fancy dress party with the theme being the letter P. Everyone on the bus discussing what they could be & what we need to buy.

Went for a really nice walk by the Sea (Tauranga Bay) where we saw the largest seal colony in NZ. It is also the closest point to Oz - interesting fact for ya!!

Stopped in Greymouth in order to buy our costumes. The local charity & $2 shops must love these stops.

Hostel was literally in the middle of nowhere & again was for our bus only.

Once we had checked in we all headed for the beach which was only about 5 mins away. Lovely sandy beach & great great waves to dive into, although the water was a bit on the cold side. The boys had a game of beach football while the girls sunbathed - how very stereotypical!!

Had the most amazing dinner of steak, venison stew, roast pots & veg - we haven't been that quiet for ages!!

Everyone wondered off to get changed & head to the 'Poo Bar'. There were loads of really great costumes including lots of pirates, presents, plastic bag, a Paris Hilton, Pilot, Peter Pan. I played it safe & went as a policeman.

The beer & shots flowed into the early hous & it really pulled the whole bus together & from that moment on we have become really tight.
