Hey guys!! Now I'm in the Dominican Republic! This Island is absolutely beautiful!! We are going to be on top of a mountain (in a mountain community) in the south-wesrtern half of the country called Cachote. It is beautiful up here. We are staying in cabins, without consistant running water or electricity and the women from the community gather all of our fruit from the rainforest and butcher the chickens for dinner. Every night all of us and the locals get together and play music and dance the Bachata (a Domincan dance that the lower class dance to.). We also drink this hot chocolate (because it's cold at night) that has spicy ginger and some sort of other spice in it, that's delicious!!) We are currently building a bathroom, and after we're done we will be going down to a town called Padaiso where we will be staying for a few days, and visiting the beach for one of the days. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well, and happy St. Patrick's Day and Easter to everyone!!
