Day1 Left Keflavik airport in our Skoda Superb headed around the southern coast of the Reykjanes peninsula. We visited the Blue Lagoon, Krysuvik Geothermal Area and Kleifarvatn Lake with its black sand beaches. Big day playing tourist today in Edinburgh. After breakfast we begin our adventures aboard the hop on hop off bus. Best way to get a good overview of the city and surrounds. We got off at Palace of Holyrood House which is the official summer palace for the current royal family in Scotland. Farewelled Pitlochry this morning after a lovely breakfast at our hotel. Our first stop this morning was at Scone Castle. Again a very majestic driveway reveals beautiful grounds and castle building. Left Inverness and started heading south towards Edinburgh. It's a beautiful day, sun is shining and no rain in sight. As yet its not raining and sky is blue! Headed off from Inverness this morning to venture north for some further highland exploring and enrichment.
