Spent the day in Scotland. One of Gary's clients and friends (Sandy and Annette) picked us up fro the port and took us to Edinburgh. We visited the Edinburgh Castle where we saw the Crown Jewels and watched/listened to the cannon being fired at 1:00. We then went and ate pizza at a place the advertised America Pizza. We then went to a Scottish pub where Sandy and Gary had a pint. We saw Glascow on our way to and from Edinburgh. We also saw a lot of sheep.

Day at sea - worked out first thing followed by breakfast. Spent the rest of the day exploring the ship. Had lunch in the main dining room and met some new friends from Indiana, NYC and Ontario. It was elegant night in the dining room and we enjoyed dinner with Dean, Wanda, Jack and Lori. We ended the evening listening to a comedian in the comedy club. Our room 6273 on the Carnival Legend.

We boarded the ship Carnival Legend today. The weather is quite foggy but the boarding process went without a hitch. We had lunch on the Lido deck in the Unicorn cafe. We participated in the muster drill. We unpacked and then had dinner in Truffles. Hung out a while listening to a band and then went to the welcome aboard show. Great first day on the ship.

Today we arrived in London at 7:00 am. We cleared customs quickly, but alas our car and driver were no where to be found. Gary and Dean ask one of the other drivers to call and check on our car. We found out he was stuck in traffic. The fog was pretty thick when we arrived. He finally arrived almost an hour late and we made the trip to Dover in about 2 hours. We checked in our hotel and then went exploring the town pm center where we had lunch and Wanda pic...

We have landed. Let the adventure begin.
