We spotted our first wild life on top of table mountain! Despite the high winds this little fellow was sitting out on one of the rocks! He is a rock hydax. The locals call him a dassie. He is about the size of a ground hog!

On our first day we took a city tour of Cape Town. One of our first stops was Table Mountain. We took a tram to the top. The tram had a rotating floor so we could see all the way around! This picture is from the top over looking the city.

Our plane is here! We've made it through security with time to spare. Of course Gary had to go through extra security! He always gets tagged for extra screening.
Our bags weighed in at 40 and 37.5 well under the 44 pound limit. So that means 10,5 pounds of souvenirs!
